Reading This, Wearing That: Valentine’s Day Edition

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and whether you’re single, taken or undecided it’s a great excuse for a little retail therapy and a love poem. While we did have the unique pleasure of reading Fifty Shades of Grey in the Unputdownable Book Club, I’m recommending something a little more sophisticated with a lot less chatter from Anastasia Steele’s “inner goddess.”

Love Poems by Nobel Prize winner Pablo Neruda makes a beautiful gift for yourself or your loved one(s). Neruda beautifully captures the essence of eroticism, sensuality and yearning which is guaranteed to fog the windows.

While many of the ladies in UBC are attached, there are a select few of us still clinging to singledom. To celebrate our single lady status, we will be taking in a delicious meal downtown Ottawa and hitting the town and here are a few of the things I hope to be wearing.

Pucker Up

What will you be reading and wearing this Valentine’s Day?
